I usually do my own hair...why? Because I was tried of hair dressers thinking natural hair can wrestle bears and survive rough handling by a hair dresser that over charged me in the first place.
So shorten the story I went to a salon called Naturally Me to get my ends trimmed because they looked desperate.
I had my hair washed/conditioned, detangled, steamed, trimmed, and style for all under $50 dollars! I had to tip her, but I was excited to do so.
My note to you:
Go to natural hair events and join groups or ask on this blog about natural hair salons. I found this salon via a natural hair event.
The style:
Two braids going at angles, but a part in the middle of my hair. This style allows my hair to rest and protect my ends. I can wear it to a formal, casual, office or workout with it. "Yes we can!"

ReplyDeleteIts in Summit,MS. She definitely should consider moving to Jackson one day though. If I can find this other ladies number I met I will let you know. She stays in Jackson and is a fairly inexpensive hair dresser. Her was on point as well...you know I checked.
